Her skin has a fair complexion, free from scars or other blemishes. She has very long, bright, vibrant pink hair and bangs with contoured feathery strands that cover her left eye. Her eyes are noticeably abnormal, with yellow eyes with black sclera though the former changes to a glowing red when using activating her Quirk. Infamous for her massive bust, Fujiko proudly flaunts her voluptuous figure. The women's waist is narrow, and her stomach flat and trimmed. With wide hips, luscious thighs, and long toned legs she cuts an impressively hourglass figure. Fujiko has a heart shaped face, with a small nose and delicate chin. Her wild mane of bright pink hair extends down to the small of her back in spiky pointed locks. As the Flame Witch: Salem, Fujiko's costume bears an arcane appearance loosely inspired by classic witches. Made of incredibly fire resistant materials, her costume is designed to be comfortable and revealing. The latter is as much for cooling as it is out of vanity. She sports a very large, distinctive witch's hat, adorned with a slit accented with the pink fabric on her dress. She wears a purple collar with an attaching magenta cape, that latter of which is frequently tattered. Said cape is rather long and billowing, and is the same violet color on the outside as the rest of her costume. The rest of her costume consists of a short revealing purple and pink dress matching with two separate long sleeves, black gloves, long black curved leggings with dark purple trimmings and dark purple high heeled slippers. She also wears a matching pair of support items dubbed her 'Witches Gloves', which have long talon-like fingers. Aside from being slashing weapons, these gloves help Fujiko direct her Quirk through her hands. the personality Likes • Coercion, Chocolate, Fire, Gold, Intimidation, Jewelry, Opulence, Seduction, Wealth Dislikes • Cold, Groping, Hunger, Losing, Police, Poverty, Ugliness, Womanizers Strengths • Alluring, Ambitious, Calculating, Diligent, Gregarious, Shrewd, Voluptuary Weaknesses • Capricious, Deceitful, Egotistical, Hedonistic, Lustful, Manipulative, Obstinate Dreams • To be fabulously wealthy, happily married with children, and very powerful Fears • Dying alone & unhappy, living her life in poverty, being locked up in Tartarus for life Overall Personality • Fujiko Konohanahime is what many would consider to be, in short, a diva. The woman is above all else, proud. She has an enormously overinflated ego almost as large as her bust. Speaking of her chest, Fujiko takes great pride in her figure, so much so her vanity outweighs most of her reasoning at times. The woman spends long hours lavishing her figure, a small fortune on hair and skin care products, and steals or buys more jewelry and clothing than she could possibly know what to do with. What little good may have been in Fujiko seems to have died with her mother, the woman is now malevolent to a fault. She covets money and wealth above other physical rewards, desperate to live a life free from the crippling poverty of her childhood. This has made her extremely indulgent and hedonistic, having little sense of self control. She is prone to excess in all things, and steals or commits various acts of Villainy to maintain a level of appreciable wealth. The woman does anything she can to get what she desires. Her favored tools are deceit and manipulation, specifically with men who’s heartstrings she can tug. Seduction is a deadly weapon to Fujiko, and she wields it like an assassin’s blade. Worse, for all these faults Fujko is an impatient and difficult woman even under favorable circumstances. She is easily angered by setbacks and failure, stubborn and difficult to agree with, and prone to violent outbursts and threats of physical pain. Despite all of this, Fujiko is by and large a pleasant woman to be around. Sultry and flirtatious, she easily coerces men to her whims. She is gregarious and sociable, easily making friends and not one to sulk and hide. Ever ambitious, with big dreams and the dedication to tireless chase after them. Fujiko has a rather astute nature, as the life of an orphaned street urchin forced her to quickly mature and use her wits to survive. As a result she is very perceptive, has excellent gut instants and keen ability to read others and discern motives. the history Father • Unknown, Age Unknown, Occupation Unknown (Possibly Dead) Mother • Sakuya Konohanahime, Twenty-Six, Waitress (Deceased) Siblings • Possible unknown half-siblings Important People • Bōryoku Kirā (Stepfather*, Incarcerated) Hometown • Yanaka, Tokyo, Japan Overall History • Fujiko Konohanahime was born twenty-three odd years ago, a child unloved and unwanted by the world. Her mother, Sakuya Konohanahime, had been a young waitress at a diner making ends meet while trying to crawl her way out of poverty. Eventually she came to form a romantic relationship with a regular patron, a local Yakuza enforcer. His illicit earned incomes markedly improved the quality of her life, and for a time she was happy. Things turned south over the next year or so. With Sakuya’s boyfriend, Bōryoku, becoming increasingly violent and abusive as his drinking increased. Scared to confront him, Sakuya remained submissive for a time, trapped in a now abusive relationship with a man who had lost any love for her. In her grief, Fujiko’s mother found solace in the arms of another. A man with whom no records remain, only the genetic link he likely possessed a strong lava based Quirk. One night of passion gone wrong and Sakuya found herself pregnant. Initially Bōryoku believed it his, and wanted nothing to do with the child. Though as time progressed, he grew increasingly suspicious of his girlfriend or her stories. Still, Sakuya managed to maintain the lie up through her pregnancy, all through to delivery. There were complications, and in the aftermath of the childbirth blood tests and a DNA test revealed the child could not have been Bōryoku’s. Enraged, blind to reason and feeling betrayed by his lover Bōryoku drew a gun, shooting dead Sakuya, an innocent nurse, and shooting the doctor present through his arm. Bōryoku was quickly restrained by the efforts of Pro-Hero: Whiplash, a speed based Quirk user who had been attending the hospital to check up on an injured Sidekick recovering from unrelated injuries. He was taken into custody by police, and later tried and found guilty on two counts of murder, multiple charges of assault with a deadly weapon, resisting arrest, possession of an unregistered firearm, and many more petty crimes. He serves to this day in prison, forgotten by any who would know his name. Sakuya’s child, named Fujiko by her mother shortly before the woman’s untimely death, became a ward of the state. Placed into foster care, the pink haired child became just another face in the underfunded and understaffed state sponsored orphanage system. With no known living family, no information on her biological father, she was quickly forgotten by anyone who may have cared. Fujiko fell victim to a cruel system that did the barest minimum to raise its wards. At the age of four and a half, Fujiko’s Quirk manifested. Being scolded and beaten by an orderly for crying, she generated an intense barrier of fire around herself. Her orphanage burned to the ground, with multiple severe injuries but otherwise no casualties. Fujiko was moved to more secure facilities, better able to handle volatile children with powerful Quirks. Here she was kept under constant medication, spending most of her days in a medically induced stupor. Fujiko and a number of her fellow inmates as they called themselves staged a break out, destroying most of a wing of the facility and severely injuring several orderlies in the process. Many of the escaped children were quickly recaptured by police or Pro-Heroes. Fujiko was not, escaping to a life of freedom living on the streets. Or so she thought. Without shelter, food, or money, life was harsh. The only thing that kept her safe was her Quirk, which she had lovingly named Spellfire. Frequent advances were made against the young girl, and all who dared touch her against her will were met with searing burns and raging fires. As the years passed, Fujiko adapted to life in the streets. She became a pickpocket, then a gang member, bouncing from one group to another as they overstayed their welcome. As she matured, her beauty flourished into a ravishing woman of unquestioned beauty. Though at the same time, the ugliness and darkness in her soul only grew. Fujiko came to despise what she saw as an unfair system. She had never been given a chance at a decent life. Denied parents, love, safety, comfort, money, or a future. Her resentment grew, as did her vows to escape the vicious cycle she’d been cast into. Fujiko Konohanahime took inspiration from Villains she’d heard of, and adopted an alternate persona as well. Flame Witch: Salem was born, originally little better than a stolen Halloween costume and some liberally applied eye shadow. However as Salem’s proficiency with her Quirk grew, as well as her own criminal skill set, she began to finally find the success she’d craved for so long. Finally, by her own two hands the young woman had begun to turn her life around. In present times Salem sports a proper Villain costume made by her connections within a less than reputable Support Company. She has a modest apartment in Yanaka, and works as a bartender at a Yazuka fronted nightclub as her ‘legal’ source of revenue. Most of her time is spent in the ruthless pursuit of wealth, and there is very little Fujiko will not say or do in order to obtain this goal. With one, specific exception. She will do no task that directly harms a child, seeing in them a reflection of her own troubled life. the Quirk Quirk's Name • Spellfire Quirk's Rank • II Quirk's Tier • II Quirk's Type • Emitter / Mutation Quirk's Description • Spellfire is a dual Quirk that combines her mother’s unnamed Heat Mutation Quirk with her father’s Fire Emitter Quirk. Officially it was named ‘Fire Emitter Quirk’ by medical staff upon her initial incident, though they did so misidentifying the full extend of Fujiko's Quirk abilities. Spellfire earned its name after Fujiko decided to adopt her witch-like Villain persona, and the pun on the word ‘Hellfire’ took her an entire minute to think up. It is also worth noting the fires created by Spellfire range from common orange and red hues, to magenta and violet at their hotter intensities. Spellfire allows Fujiko to manifest and control both heat and flames in the general vicinity around and within her body. Her mother’s nameless Heat Quirk allows her body to generate and withstand incredible amounts of thermal heat and energy. By focusing her Quirk on specific points of the body, usually her lips, fingers, or palm, she can deliver searing injuries comparable to a branding iron. At a distance, her father’s Flame Quirk allows her to conjure fireballs to hurl at her enemies from afar or shoot sustained jets of flames from her hands. In the past, in moments of intense emotional outburst or as an instinctive defensive measure, Fujiko has been able to summon barriers of fire to encircle her. Quirk Limitation • Spellfire is subject first and foremost to the laws of thermal entropy. Her fire is subject to being extinguished by ordinary fire fighting means such as pressurized water, fire retardant foam, or chemical fire extinguishers. Fujiko’s fire also obeys normal rules of combustion, and requires a proper fuel air mixture of oxygen, hydrogen, and nitrogen. If subjected to an atmosphere where flames cannot ignite, she is unable to use the fire portion of her Quirk. Alternatively, she also has no way to prevent her flames from acting as an ignition source for larger fires and explosions, such as gas or fuel leaks. Her fire is also less potent in heavy rain, blizzards, and useless underwater. Additionally, while Fujiko can manipulate flames not directly caused by her Quirk, she is unable to do so outside of the control range of her Quirk. This means large fires will grow beyond her ability to control given fuel and time. At present, Fujiko can only emit flames directly via her hands, either her palms, fingertips, or a combination of one or both hands. In additional, while Spellfire is able to manipulate fire based Quirks of similar natures, it can only do so when Fujiko's is the greater in terms of power and control. She is unable to brute force control of flames from Quirks of similar or greater levels of power, and forcibly taking control of another's flames is far more physically taxing than the creation of her own fire even under ideal circumstances. Though ironic, Fujiko's body is limited in its usage of her Quirk by the heat she generates. Her flames evaporate sweat and limit natural cooling, which is one reason for her extremely revealing outfit and lack of heavier clothing. Fujiko's body also builds up heat internally at a greater rate than she can vent it when overusing her Quirk. This leads to heat exhaustion, with symptoms in relation to the severity of her overheating. As a general rule of thumb, Fujiko can use the flame portion of Spellfire a dozen times before succumbing to the effects of heat stroke's fatigue. Hijacking control of another fire based Quirk's flames is twice as taxing, sapping her stamina and requiring greater levels control. As a result, she must use this ability sparingly or risk tiring herself at an accelerated rate. The Heat portion of Spellfire also obeys the laws of entropy, and is a purely exothermic reaction. Fujiko is unable to draw heat back into her body by any means, even the heat given off by either component of her Quirk. She can choose where to direct the heat given off through her Quirk, though the wider the administered area the less powerful the overall effect. A single fingertip could be as hot as a welding torch, where her entire body may only give off heat like a hot stove top. Heat also dissipates conducts through air and other mediums as normal, meaning Fujiko must physically contact a target for maximum thermal exchange. Quirk Weakness • Fujiko’s two biggest weaknesses are obvious ones. Fire suppression and heat dampening counter measures. Her flames can be diminished by common chemical and thermal reactions that work on fuel-air fires. From large amounts of water, to fire extinguishing chemical. In sufficient amounts Fujiko’s flames can simply be extinguished by mundane means or Quirks. Meanwhile the heat given off by both her flames and her body itself is subject to normal means of defeating thermal convection. Sufficient insulation, cooling, or simply distance is enough to avoid her heat. It is primarily effective through physical touch, forcing Fujiko to get into close proximity to make use of it. She also radiates her, and while she can focus where it radiates from and how intensely, she cannot deliver it in other forms such as radiation or microwaves. It simply conducts through surfaces around her. Fujiko’s Quirk has a tell, when active, her normally yellow pupils change to a fiery red orange color. The greater the exertion of her Quirk, the more the color shifts from a bright yellow to a deep crimson. She can also be easily tracked by the considerable heat signature she gives off, as even her default core temperature is at a level that would be a life threatening fever for normal humans. Lastly, Fujiko’s Quirk is activated by strong emotional outbursts. Fear and Anger are the most common causes of involuntary Quirk activation. When in these emotionally volatile states, her Quirk becomes more unwieldy for her to control. Her emotional instability can be targeted specifically to work activation of her Quirk, or to reduce her control and focus. Fujiko is also not immune to secondary effects of fire, such as breathing in poisonous gases released by burning materials. the Talents Talent's Name • Improved Agility Talent's Rank • II Talent's Tier • I Talent Description • Life on the streets and a body in peak physical form give Fujiko improved agility & dexterity. She is more adept than the average human at navigating Tokyo's urban jungle. Though Fujiko lacks any formal training to hone her skill beyond an amateur level. Talent's Name • Unarmed Combat Talent's Rank • I Talent's Tier • I Talent Description • A long life of crime has given Fujiko a crude understanding of unarmed fighting. With no formal martial arts training, her style of fighting is an adaptive and dirty form of combat. She is unafraid to go for the crotch, eyes, or any other underhanded tactics in order to win. the role player |
