Kato is a tall, well built young man with most of his body covered in a hard black material. This material is harden sweat. Which means he's smells sweaty all the time. He always looks sweaty and angry with a clear scowl on his face and always yelling at people which with his sharp teeth is scary as all hell. Kato hates when people at him. He is furious and can't let things go. He harbors anger and hatred towards villains and those who hurt others, being unforgiving and grumpy towards others and rarely ever accept apologies and tends to be petty. Kato doesn't trust strangers right away, being skeptical of others in a first meeting. But if you show him any genuine kindness, he will open up to them in a heartbeat. But when he's not showing open antagonism, he is neutral and somewhat indifferent to many things. Kato is quite cynical of not only those around him but of himself to the point of self-hatred he feels like his belligerence and attitude towards others is a worthless coping mechanism. He suffers from a fear of lack of control over his personality, and his anger he also suffers from a fear of hurting others close to him, which is why he pushes most people away. His main insecurity is about his lack of self-control and defensiveness. Kato's most shining trait is his determination and will-power. He never gives up on anything for better or for worse. He never hesitates to stand up against those who intend to hurt innocents. He will keep fighting through injuries through sheer determination alone. But he can also be very stubborn and hesitant to accept help or cooperate unless he feels he has no other choice. He feels like he needs to be the one to help others, and never the one helped. After going through as many things as he did, he has a dry and dark sense of humor. Very deadpan and dour. Some would consider him traumatize. While he doesn't show it too often, he does have a very emotional side to him. His mother was a pro-hero with a bone growth quirk, and his father had a tail. Kato ended up with an amalgamation of both of his parents' quirks'. Kato's family-his mother especially was overjoyed by this unexpected result. It means he would become a Pro-hero with age and her training. Not even an hour after being Kato was a handful due to his long bony tail wouldn't let nurses get too close to him without protection. A hint of what kind of person he would be as he grew. Kato suffered many hardships while growing up. He was isolated and bullied by his classmates as a child due to his freaky appearance and scary quirk, and was pushed to his limits by his mother who trained him daily every day while he was a child so he could be a pro-hero. But he tried his best to be a kind and gentle child, but he still lashed out and got angry with his treatment by others. But one day Kato befriended a small kitten in an alley, he adopted her in secret and named her Koko. It would take a week before his mother learned of the cat and he had to bag for her to let him keep it saying its the only friend he had and after some hours of arguing with her husband she allowed him to keep it but he would need to train harder. More painfully. Kato would do anything to keep his first friend. But just barely. Kato's training during elementary school was intense and borderline abusive. Due to the nature of his quirk, he can bend and put his bones back to place more efficiently compared to most people. So his mother pushed how far he can do this, at first it was the most painful thing he has ever done in his life, but over the months of training he is used to it. But it makes him sick to hear his bones crack and pop back into place to this day. Sometime Kato wondered if being a Pro-hero was worth all of this training and pain. But he would meet a boy that would change it. A nice and kind boy who Kato would grow to love in the span of elementary and middle school he was the only thing keeping him kind. This boy was Kato first and only crush. This boy was the only one besides his mother to say he could become a Pro-hero. But from him, it was genuine and exciting. Not forced and hurtful like his mother. But during middle school is when the pranks started, the love letter pranks. When he got his first love letter, he waited on the roof of the school for 13 hours hoping to find the person who sent it. But they never showed up. This cycle repeated for every year after. And it hurt more and more with each passing year until he became numb and cold and just threw out the last love letter in the trash in his final year of middle school. Which turned out to be a mistake as the sender was honest with his feelings and it was none other than his best friend. Who fell in love with him over the years but didn't know about the fake love letters due to being in a different middle school, and thought Kato was a heartless jerk who throw out love letters and he ghosted him for the rest of the year. Kato didn't know this until it was too late and he felt incredibly guilty over his actions, but he was also too scared to admit he was wrong so he kept his mouth shut and moved on, despite wanting to repair the friendship. He couldn't, he was scared. So for his final year at middle school, he was friendless, but he had a goal in mind. To become a Pro-hero. Kato can leave gashes in cement, but far from destroying it. Kato can shrug off hits that can seriously hurt regular people. Kato can traverse the city by digging his claws into walls and windows. quirk weakness • Due to the nature of his quirk, Kato is sweaty. Very sweaty. This means in an intense situation or on a hot day, which means Kato's armor can become considerably heavy to the point that it becomes hard to move after a certain point. Kato's armor gets destabilized by warm and hot water, due to the nature of his quirk being made from his sweat. His biggest weakness is soap since those things can break apart his armor to the point of it melting off his skin. Due to the nature of his quirk, he has to have a shower after every time he uses his quirk since he can't remove it without damaging his skin and body. If his armor is ripped off his skin underneath is sensitive and fragile, to the point that any attacks can severely damage the skin, and leaves him vulnerable to blood infections. Kato is also weak to elemental attack, and he has no ranged attacks at this point.
