It was later in the day. Bordering on the evening as the sun was making its rounds to setting over the horizon. The sky was a rich tapestry of reds, pinks, purples, and blues. It was quite a sight to behold. But that isn't why Kato Hatsune arrived here at this park. Kato was here to train and improve his status to become the number one Pro-hero in the world. Most people assumed one needed a strong quirk to be a Pro-hero. Which is partly true, but the other things one need is a powerful body, mind, and soul. One's quirk is useless if even one of those things is weak the rest will falter like a house of cards, one has to perfect in every aspect to be the perfect Pro-hero, and Kato knows they aren't perfect, despite everything they say.

They need to get better they need to get stronger they need to be better then they are, they need to stop being themselves. They need to stop being a child and grow the fuck up already! They always need to grow, change, improve, stagnation is a weakness, being content leads to a weak body, mind, and soul, so Kato can and should never be too comfortable or content, strength and power is Kato's only saving grace. Everything else about them is too prickly and sharp for others to enjoy, so they should use that which keeps people at a distance to use on people who deserve to be cut by their razor-sharp edges.

So here Kato was jogging around the park's routes, their body slowly encasing in their black armor, but it wasn't enough to be noticed unless you look very hard at their features. But it was there. Kato has been jogging for two hours already at this point and it barely got them to sweat, good. It means their stamina is improving with each day. Soon they ca run marathon easily-Suddenly Kato collided with something, or rather someone.

There was really nothing like a quiet spot to read, to reflect, and to train oneself without the noise, the interruptions, or the general annoyances of other people. Normally, Hotaru went to his room, locked the door, and trained; it was simple training, of course, while he was in his room. He did calisthenics, push-ups, pull-ups, sit-ups, nothing too spectacular. Just things that he would do in order to physically improve himself. He had a set of training weights. Plus, he also had his heavy bag of metal materials. On top of that, he had the weights he had personally fashioned from spare metal around his wrists and his ankles to create somewhat more resistance.

But, he couldn't do much else. He needed more room. He wanted more space to stretch out and, also, to practice with his metal crafting; he needed as much space as possible in order to experiment with some larger weapons. His room was lacking that space.

It was for those reasons - the desire for space, and the desire for a good workout location where he could make as much noise as he desired without disturbing his mother - that he found himself at the seemingly empty park. Very few people hung around the park as it got later on in the afternoon, especially as the day wore on and became evening. This was perfect for him.

The bag of metal was placed in a simple bench in front of him and for the past half hour, he had been using a sturdy tree branch as a pull-up bar. His shirt lay on the ground beside him, exposing his bare upper body to whomever happened to be in the area. They would see the extensive collection of scars that raced along his back, shoulders, neck, biceps, and even across his chest and stomach should they walk around him to see if the scarring worked its way around the trunk of his torso - it did.

They would also see the way the young man's well muscled build flexed as he gripped the branch and pulled himself up. The metal weights around his wrists, and those around his ankles, glinting in the little light that poured onto his sweat covered upper body from a nearby tall lamp that flickered to life as the day became evening which slowly became night.

He had counted off at least one hundred and seventy five pull ups when he decided to drop down to the grassy ground, his feet softly touching grass as he wiped the sweat off his brow.

It was at that point, that he felt something, or someone, run into him. He was pushed forward slightly, as he turned and caught himself using the trunk of the tree he had been using as makeshift exercise equipment.

"Do you mind looking where you're walking?" The somewhat agitated white haired youth questioned with mild irritation in his voice, "A whole park and you somehow run into me." He turned to face Kato.

When Kato collided with the scarred white haired teenager, Kato didn’t seem all that phased by it, Kato was half way tempted to keep jogging and not look back at the person they ran into as they didn’t seem hurt or that phased by it either. So why should they care? But when the white haired teen told him to look where they are going, that go on their nerves a little bit more then they probably should’ve allowed. Kato dark eyes glared at the white haired youth with a great intensity before they started to take a few deep breaths in and then out to calm themselves down. They can’t explode on everybody like they do with their classmates.

It took a long moment of breathing for them calm down enough to speak up.”Excuse me, I was deep in thought about something important, I-should’ve watched where I was going.” Kato said through gritted teeth and restrained annoyance at the kid’s tone. Kato normally takes no bullshit from anybody but after a few complaints from Shiketsu, Kato was sat down by a few teachers and told to better restrain themselves or else it will cause more issues, not that Kato cared, but their mom does. God does she care about public image and how the populace views both her and them by extension of herself.

Kato wanted to scream and shout and let out all of their annoyance at this kid, but they couldn’t they had to keep it in and suffer with it, god how do people deal with this bullshit so much? ”….I’m new to this whole being polite shit, do I introduce myself? If so I’m Kato Hatsune, the shining student of U.A.’s 1-A homeroom class, how about you? Not many teens trained if they aren’t also a Hero student.” Kato asked.

The person whom had bumped into him hadn't done so with enough force to actively hurt him. In fact, the teen had barely done so with enough force to knock him over. But, he still felt rather annoyed at their sheer level of rudeness. How could, with all the space around the boy, this individual run into them like that? Were they not looking where they were walking? Were they on their cell phone? Or were they just allowing their feet to carry them forward without any real actual thought? Their feet moved on their own accord and the mind was just empty and thinking of literally anything except the path in front of it?

The way the young man turned to face him, he whipped about on his feet, with an expression of venom dripping from his face and his eyes glared daggers at Hotaru that, if he actively had that as a quirk, he would have been nothing short of a white haired scar riddled pin cushion. Still, despite the glare, despite the way the young man's jaw clenched, or his muscles tightened, and his body moved into posture, the one that most people get when they are in a level of anger that far exceeds the physical limits of the term pissed off, he did not seem at all phased.

Hotaru stared at him with, not a bored expression, but a neutral one. His face was one of ambivalence. He wasn't even annoyed. Well, he had been annoyed. But he was good at quashing his emotions, or at least hiding them. At least when not angry, or furious. Currently, he was neither of those things. When the young man apologized, he shook his head and waved it off.

"It's fine. I wasn't paying attention either." He peered up at the branch from which he had been hanging a few moments ago, having been doing pull-ups. "Probably should move off the path and move over there so I don't get in people's way." He motioned over with a jerk of his head to the grassy area to the side of the walking path.

He took a few steps away from the path, picked up his towel, and wiped his brow with it as he turned to face the still angry looking young man. He commented about being new to the whole 'polite shit', which left him somewhat, not startled but rather bemused.

"Kato Hatsune of U-A class 1-A..."He repeated and then nodded as if he were filing the name away into some database in the back of his mind, putting a name to a face in case they ever met again in the future. "The name's Kurogane Hotaru, from Shiketsu," He commented, introducing himself in the same way that Kato had done, giving his name, the school he went to, though he didn't bother with which class he was currently in. That wasn't of particular importance at the moment, "I heard of U-A. My mom wanted me to go there originally. But, I wound up going to Shiketsu instead. What's that school like? Shiketsu is pretty wild. We got dragons for teachers there."
