Yumiko was often known as being a rather crafty child when she was younger, and this only seemed to escalate further down the line as she grew. While she lacked the skills to work with tough, durable materials she still knew how to make things out of normal objects people would view as trash. An object perfect for pranking was required, as her teacher had challenged her and wanted to see what she was capable of. This teacher was a fox-quirked woman, which made it relatively easy to find ways to lay bait out for her, but what better than to literally reel her in with a 'fishing pole' of sorts.

First came procuring the 'fishing pole.' Nearby her house she knew there was a patch of foxtail she could pluck, the issue was how to fashion a long pole out of these? Simple; the base of the foxtail was extensively thick allowing it to grow tall before flopping over. All she needed, was to use twine to tie these thicker parts together to make a base and then tie the thinner parts at the top together to extend it. After a few hours of handcrafting this shoddy 'cat toy,' she tested the length. Fifteen feet in length; perfect! It even had the perfect amount of floppy at the end where she twined several of the millet into a large bushy end. "Now... to see if this works on Teach tomorrow..."

She spent the last week showing up earlier, and earlier, testing to when her teacher first showed up to class, aiming to arrive with enough time to prepare. Knowing that she would need to use her quirk to best scare her teacher, she lined up next to one of the vending machines near the entrance. No other student would dare arrive this early! Only her teacher would! Feeling like an evil Bond villain mastermind, she cackled slightly to herself huddling next to the vending machine covered in shadow.
[break][break]
Waiting, and waiting for her teacher to arrive she would keep her homemade cat toy held high in the sky. The moment she heard a door open, she would lower it while simultaneously melting into the shadow of the vending machine, making sure to wiggle the cat toy as annoyingly as possible at such a height that it would be directly in front of Chiyoko's face; if she was the first person to walk by.
