A lone girl lay in the empty practice field that belonged to UA Academy. Prestigious school for heroes. With her arms behind her head, she seemed to be lifted up her torso methodically, counting numbers quietly under her breath. You see, it was 2:52pm. At 3PM, on the dot, Kato was to show up. After all, he did promise to spar her. Well... not a promise, really. More like screaming it.[break][break]
And if he would wait all day to fight Yumiko, without even knowing where she was, Umeko would at least trust Kato to show up to this one.[break][break]
But... she was getting tired of waiting. Umeko fell back onto the grass, and a sigh escaped her lips as her back hit the ground. The sky was covered in clouds, overcasting the world in dull light. The only noise she heard was not one of someone approaching, but nature instead. The quiet sound of a breeze, birds chirping in the distance... a cat meowing.[break][break]
...Wait.[break][break]
Umeko shot up, looking around with wide eyes. The cat, wherever it was, meowed again. It was distant, but still loud enough for her to gauge which direction it was coming from. A stray on campus? This could be her opportunity. Sneaking a pet into the dorms was the ultimate power move. She stood in one place, rotating her entire body in a circle as she listened once more for the cat.[break][break]
Sure enough, it meowed again. "Found you." With a smirk, she quietly made her way over to where it was coming from. A tree off near the edge of the field. And clinging from the branches was a small orange kitten. Damnit. Umeko scowled, glancing away. Where was Kato at? 2:57, and he still wasn't here.[break][break]
"Come on, little guy..." Umeko raised her hand in an attempt to reach the cat, only to get a hiss in return. She frowned in return, retracting her hand. "Fine then. I'll just leave you there."

A lone figure stood by the entrance of the U.A.'s practice field. It was 2:58 PM a bit late for when Kato typically arrives at meetings, but Alistair was bugging him about tea and Kato told him to fuck off and they gulped the whole thing down and left to come here otherwise he would be late for the meeting with Umeko, for an old fashion brawl!

Kato needed a pick me up after the whole Yumiko leaving him for hanging for 8 hours. Kato never says no to a fight, ever.

When Kato arrived and saw no Umeko he let out a loud, "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA GOD FUCKING DAMN IT!" That could be heard from very far away. But while before starting his second scream, Kato noticed Umeko on the edge of the field looking up a tree, Kato's blood started boiling, was she so condescending of him that she thought he was hiding up in a tree like the shady bitch would.

Kato with clear steam coming off of him started to stomp his way to Umeko, and the tree not being subtle at all until he was right next to her, and he started yelling, "WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING, JUST BECAUSE I WAS ALMOST LATE DOESN'T MEAN YOU GET TO DITCH ME BIT---KITTY!" Kato angerly muttered/yelled at Umeko until he finally looked up to where she was looking and saw the orange cat and his intensely angry expression turned soft and happy, as he looked at the cat and lifted his hand to it which it clawed at, but due to his armor the cat's claws just reflected off the armor with an audible -tink- which caused the cat to reel back which meant Kato could grab it from under its chest and pulled it down from the branch and he brought it down and when he tried to bring it to his face to snuggle it the cat kept hissing and putting its paws in front of himself to not get any closer to Kato who had a blissful look on his face despite the cat attempting to claw his face off.

The practice field of U.A Academy, where many go to train their bodies and quirks to their hearts content. For Dymek a place to train his style of fighting the many criminals that he's bumped into on his way toward U.A, something that was needed for the coming days from what he feels. His set-up was that of dummies to determine his style best for combat situations. ...Or more so the strength of is makeshift weapons of earth. His choice, a large hammer and scythes. This test, his hammer. And so with a breath and a tense of his muscles, black mist swirls around his arm and forms the weapon of choice before he flexes again as it condenses into a solid rock.[break]
[break]With a quick strike of one of the dummies, uppercutting them with the rocked hammer and sending them to the sky, the feline jumps up and kicks the dummy to the side before he tenses his muscles once more, waving his hand sharply as he lets out a breath, a stream of dark mist leaving that space as it carries the hammer to slam the dummy down to the ground. That bag smacking the ground with a hard thud. Dymek lands before putting a hand to his chest as he pants heavily, the hammer falling from the sky and landing beside the training object. With a wince he tries to regulate his breathing again. [break]
[break]"Dammit... I need to get that going more.. ho-" Suddenly his ears fold down from a SCREAM that ruptured the air around him, his drums banging loudly because of that voice. He only knew ONE person that had that amount of vocal power, and it was certainly not going to be a friendly one once he gets a hold of him for just doing it non-stop. Why was he doing it? Who knows! He just HATED how it was able to be heard ANYWHERE. It ruined his sleep schedule, it was always bothering him even when he's not in the way, he just heard it constantly![break]
[break]Though he heard that he was talking to someone, so he might as well go and check out WHY he was here to begin with. With a twist of his arm, his smoked hammer turns back to dust and swept across the wind. His steps were quiet as he went toward the noise of hissing and rapid claws before he noticed both Kato and... someone else in the same field as him. What a coincidence. His face wasn't baring a friendly front, especially since he wanted to be training alone today, but with them here, he can't concentrate. He mostly blames Kato.[break]
[break]"Oh god... why is there a stray here? I just hope it doesn't get attached to me." Was all he managed to mutter before sighing, starting to walk over to them because... honestly there wasn't much point in avoiding someone if they're going to be around here. Besides, actual training could prove useful.

She seemed to stare up at this poor cat for what felt like hours before the screaming broke the silence. It was faint, but it was very obvious it was Kato. God, damnit! He was going to scare the cat away! Making sure the poor thing wasn't going to move, she turned to look over her shoulder. Sure enough, in the distance, she saw the familiar teen, covered in all black like always.[break][break]
So edgy.[break][break]
He turned his head, meeting her gaze. Oh GOD. She snapped her head back around to stare up at the cat, giving it a smirk. "Don't worry, gonna get you down from there!"[break][break]
She heard him stomping his way over, and resisted the urge to start laughing. He sure was grumpy today, wasn't he? Even as he got closer, and the distant yelling grew louder and louder until it was in her ear- Oh.[break][break]
He stopped.[break][break]
Out of the corner of her eye, she noticed him staring up at the tree. This was going to be fun. "I found him in the tree, dumbass! I wasn't skipping out on our spar, don't even think. You're the late one!" Resisting the urge to smack him on the back of the head, instead stood back as she watched Kato attempt to grab the cat- and actually... SUCCEED?[break][break]
Umeko quirked an eyebrow, and clapped her hands together. "Nice! Congrats. You did it. Now what are we gonna do with it?" Obviously she wanted to keep it, but was that even allowed? She didn't have any issues with sneaking a cat into her dorm, but.[break][break]
Another figure approached in the distance, and he looked visibly angry. Great, another one. Damn... she wasn't good with names. Which one was this? Dymak? Dymar? Dilmek? Umeko reached out, grabbing Kato's sleeve and giving it a harsh tug. "Ey, incoming." Might as well give him a warning beforehand, 'cause it was obvious he was upset with someone...[break][break]

Kato was for the first time since arriving at U.A. was halfway content with anything. Kato kept snuggling up to the hissing and pawing cat in his arms. Kato could die happily right about now. Kato initially ignored Umeko's words until they got the cat safely down from the tree and after snuggling with the cat, Kato looks at Umeko with a sour expression, "I wasn't even late, you are the one who jumped to conclusions bitch," Kato grumbled as he pressed his face into the cat's stomach which it did not like. But Kato didn't notice.

Umeko kept talking and talking and talking it was starting to get on his nerves, but when she asked what they wanted to do with the cat, Kato stared at her and then down at the cat before pulled it away from his body which the cat seemed relived by before he turned the cat around and pulled his arms back behind him as if about throw the cat over the U.A. walls.

But before Kato could yeet the cat over the wall, Dymek showed up and started making their way to them, so Kato pulled the cat over their head and glared at Dymek with an unamused expression with for Kato was very subtle, "What the fuck do you want you bastard?" It wasn't even a seriously angry comment, Kato was talking as calmly and as softly as they humanly could, which was just above talking range for most people.

Kato let out a grumble as Dymek came closer and they pulled the cat away from Dymek, not wanting the two cats to fight. The cat seemed intimidated by Dymek, confusing him for a giant cat instead of, whatever he was. #hich was good, it meant the cat wasn't trying to get away from Kato's grasp now. Kato was now growling at Dymek, as he got closer to the trio.

Oh, they seemed to have found a cat all the way out here. Though it seems to be clawing the ever loving crap out of the greyscaled teen. Though once seeing that the cat noticed the anthro, it seemed... very confused. Which was fair, he was a giant cat man in the most common sense of the word. But still, as he was approaching, it looked as if Kato was about to ACTUALLY throw the cat somewhere else. Which wasn't good on any route. With that being seen, he throws himself forward to get closer, but it seemed that he pulled the cat back, so he slows his walk back to his casual strut. Though his eyes were locked onto the cat just in case something else happened.[break]
[break]However, as soon as Kato said anything, Dymek looked back to the teen and lost all compassion he was about to even speak. He raised a hand, pointing a finger at them. "Rude, first off. No need to be aggressive for no reason, I was literally just wondering what the yelling was about over here. But then, I see the cat and now I'm just confused. But if you're just going to be rude straight off the bat, you're not going to get a friendly response back. At least I have some self control not to curse someone out right away." He growls back to the monocolored teen, his growl a lot more realistic due to his nature.[break]
[break]He looks over to the other person and gives a small wave, trying to at least be friendly at the very least. But with Kato in the way of it, it was hard to keep a smile. "I also saw that you were about to catapult that cat away, which I wasn't going to forgive. If I had a better angle... I would just cave your face in with a hammer if you did that. ...Still, why are you two here anyway? Can't be for the cat, honestly, never even heard of a cat in school grounds."
