overall appearance • With a petite build, pale skin, and a childish face, Itazura is the image of innocence. He looks deceptively young, but don't treat him like a child! He is fifteen!...as he will declare loudly. His limbs are thin and not at all muscular; practically the definition of a stick. His moderately long, wavy, blackish-purple hair is simply a result of him messing around with it one early morning, and a mischievous smile is almost ever-present upon his face. His outfit always consists of a chessboard-patterned scarf, but every other article of clothing is usually wacky and absurd, where he comes in with a different outfit every day. Some have even seen him dress as a girl before!

overall personality • Itazura is an mischievous boy, who can't get enough of his inventions... and annoying the hell out of his adoptive older brother. As wild and untamed as his hair, this boy too is just as unruly. He loves a good prank, but never does it out of malicious intent. He hates it when people treat him like a child even when they know his age. Even so, he will take advantage of his innocent-looking appearance to mess with others. Itazura is very prideful of both his family and his inventions, being able to talk on and on and on about them. At the same time, the boy often drives away the people around him with his odd attire and seemingly ill-intented behavior. As such, he finds himself in the company of more machines than humans, more often than not. He loves his parents greatly and is incredibly thankful of them for taking him in. Around them, he is always on his best behavior, acting like an angel. He views his adoptive brother as a kind of rival, but also aspires to work just as hard as him. Taking on his role as the little brother, he also enjoys messing with Hideki at every given opportunity.

Those that know Itazura personally also know that the boy's worst enemy is himself. He constantly belittles himself over failed ideas and projects, afraid of not being good enough. He is constantly working himself harder and harder to achieve only success, with a 0% failure rate. Of course, such is only the case in an ideal world, and this is not one. He fears being left behind once again if he cannot prove himself. Loneliness creeps up on him easily. Though he knows his family loves him, the little voice in his mind never goes away and so the fear lingers. To anyone else though, Itazura is the most carefree individual ever, a constant grin on his face.

overall history • Moshi, moshi? ...Ah! Hey it's working! Yes! I knew just needed a few tweaks. Ah, right! Hello to whoever's listening to this recording! This is Prototype C of the ItaTime, a time capsule device by yours truly, Itazura Masaru! Ahem, name patenting. I'll be using this to document me, as a test run. Once I deem this model to be fit to brand, I'll probably bury this thing somewhere and hope someone in the future finds it! If you're listening from the future, look out for my name! It's gonna be everywhere! Remember that! Itazura Masaru! Son of Pro Hero Amaterasu, brother of Pro Hero Sol, founder of ItaSupport! Ahem, also name patenting.

But anyways! Let's begin, shall we?

I wasn't always a Masaru, y'know? Don't really remember my family name before that though, so not like it matters! I grew up in some orphanage in Tokyo. Lots of other kids there, the adults were nice. It was a bit sad to see everyone slowly leave one by one, but hey! They all went off to better families, so that's a plus! I got so bored sometimes, I'd play hide and seek with myself. Little me was weeeeirrrrd. But that's how it went for a while. Yada yada yada, then Mum and Dad came along! They took me in, and they're the best! They introduced me to Hideki, and it was then that I decided... my new older brother is now my ultimate rival! I will be Mum and Dad's favorite! Mwahahahaha!! ...Oh wait where was I? Oh right! Mum and Dad took me in. Mum's a Pro Hero, like I said before, so she started training me and nii-san in some martial arts. Hideki got real good at it. I... still suck at it. My noodle arms just aren't made for it, ugh!

But while Mum and Hideki trained for hero stuff, I hung out with Dad. Construction wasn't what I was interested in per se, but something about it got me hooked. I finally figured it out one day, when I saw some of Mum's support gear. I discovered my love for inventing that day. It was this day that a star was born! I began digging into the inner workings of machines and equipment. I poured my sweat and blood into becoming the best inventor ever! And soon, I'll open up my own support company, and my name will be everywhere! ...Oh yeah, I have to get through high school first. And sponsors. And competition. Ugh... Capitalism is such a chore. Nii-san's in Shiketsu since UA's exam didn't go so well from him, so Imma be going there too! Might pop in to nii-san's class once in a while. Hopefully I get to work with their support gear!

quirk description • Projection allows the user to, as the name implies, project an image onto a surface. A 2D image is projected from one of the user's eyes, making that eye shine a straight beam of light. The image is produced from the user's mind, so essentially, the user is projecting their ideas and thoughts in physical form. The quirk is most optimally used in darker settings, but can still be visible in lighter settings.
quirk limitation • Projection can allow the user to showcase never-before-seen inventions, as long as the user has envisioned it. Additionally, it can technically create a moving picture if the user is able to think of scenes in succession.
quirk weakness • Projection is not combat-based. Its projections do not produce sound, just visuals. The user has to keep one eye shut or else it'll project double images. Abstract concepts can't be shown with Projection, only ideas with a clear physical form.
