Her family kept her rather isolated from outside influences, as they did with all the children in the family. She grew up oblivious to the horrors of her name’s reputation until she turned seven. Once her seventh birthday came around, she was “initiated” into her family’s ways. It left a bad taste in her mouth, and she spent the next three days retching whether anything was in her stomach or not. After that, her family directly started conditioning her to become a villain just like them. She tried to rebel, but was often punished for it. Once she turned ten, she vowed to make it away from them. She started saving money, pilfering it away from any source she could and hiding it away. By the time she was nearly fifteen, she had enough money to move halfway across the world and cover legal costs of emancipating herself and changing her last name. Fortunately, she had pretended to fall in line with her family’s wishes, so it was a simple matter to trick her parents into signing the forms for emancipation. With her legal freedom in place, she packed up her things in the middle of the night around midsummer, and left. She caught a plane to Japan and had enough money to flat out buy a house and every basic thing she needed to survive. Her next step was to enroll at UA, managing to pass the entrance exam with a spectacular display though with average scores. She spent her school years fighting against stigmas of “unheroic” quirks, striving to prove that any quirk could be heroic when put to use correctly. Upon graduating, she became a sidekick at the same agency she had interned at during her last two years. Her popularity wasn’t all that high since she tended to try and avoid the limelight, but she still started saving up toward efforts to open her own agency specifically for heroes with similarly stigmatized quirks. After an incident where she prevented a middle school child from doing something terrible to get themselves killed by authorities, her popularity got the boost she needed to start her own agency. Thus, Grimm Agency has been in existence for just over a year now, and Hakkyou has continued to do her work with helping anyone in need she finds. the Quirk Hound of Hell quirk's rank • VII quirk's tier • I quirk's type • Transformation quirk description • Hakkyou is able to take on a full or partial transformation into a demonic wolf creature. This transformation increases her speed and strength, as well as enhances her senses. This quirk requires a lot of calories to function, even when not actively being used, and overuse can drive her to collapse from exhaustion. The form she takes looks like a massive, murky brown wolf with six red eyes, four long ears, and spikes protruding from her forehead, shoulders, and hips. Three prehensile tails extend a good fifteen or so feet from the end of her spine. Because of how oddly gangly her limbs are and massive paws, her natural stance is somewhat crouched. Even crouched as it is she stands about six feet tall at the shoulder. [Image Reference] quirk limitation • Her shift increases her strength, speed, and endurance when shifted, with partial shifts only giving her a partial boost to her abilities. At full shift, she can throw roughly 25 tons without issue, reach a top speed of about 50 mph, and can tank through a decent amount of damage before showing much in the way of effects from it. Her enhanced senses require the relevant sensory part to be shifted. When shifted, her hearing is comparable to that of a cat, eyesight to that of a falcon, and sense of smell easily comparable to that of a wolf. quirk weakness • Because of the high calorie requirement using her quirk has, Hakkyou can only manage to keep the full shift up for at most 10 posts a thread (a big meal is required to give her another use of it, highly improbable in a combat thread). Using just a partial shift extends this time by twice as much, though increasing to full shift will drop the bonus posts. She can push this limit by one post, but if she does so the calorie cost will cause her to collapse of exhaustion at the end of the post. Her enhanced senses also come with their own weaknesses. Sudden bright lights will temporarily blind and disorient her. Loud sources of high frequency sounds will cause severe pain, and exceptionally pungent smells can easily cause dizziness. the Talents talent's name • Hero Costume talent's rank • IV talent's tier • I talent description • Her costume is custom tailored to her abilities, and will split at specific points to keep her vital areas protected when she's shifted. The material is lightweight, but durable and provides basic bulletproofing as well as protecting against bladed weapons that don't have decent quirk enhanced strength behind them. The head piece has a communication unit built in that lets her keep in touch with her agency and anyone with the comms frequency. The visor also helps to protect against sudden bright lights, and the comms ear pieces help to filter out loud sounds.
