Character Name: Kawaguchi Chiyoko
Desired Faction: Hero
Desired Tier: Tier III Teacher
Brief explanation of what your goals are: Chiyoko is intended to be a teacher. ICly, she will drill the basics of human rights into the heads of her students if its the last thing she does. Despite being a bit of a loose cannon in her pro hero career, she will always hold fast to these principles and expects her students to do the same. OOCly, I plan on doing threads for the class to encourage interactivity and perhaps some character development. Chiyoko has a lot to say, so hopefully her students learn something from her! I want to encourage class to proactively chase their goals and have Chiyoko assist in any way she can.
I also hope to develop her as a character as well, so she can evolve with the plot rather than just be a static figure. She's still young, so she has a lot to learn!
As a response to this, write a solo (of decent length ((your discretion))) that will show us this start-up in action!
Higarashi Naoko, Japanese businessman and land shark. He owned a lot of land; far more so than the usual businessman in Japan would ever hold. Considering the exorbitant price even a tiny apartment held, it was a wonder just how much money he had. More importantly, it was a wonder how he made it so quickly; it was a source of puzzlement for his competitors.
He was also on Chiyoko’s hitlist.
She wasn’t going to kill him. No, she was going to expose and ruin him. She was the type who went sick in the stomach at the thought of having blood on her hands, and her Quirk quite literally prevented that from happening, as if her subconscious did all in its power to stop her from ever taking a life. She didn’t necessarily object, and it wasn’t like it was public knowledge, or anything.
But she was in a bit of a pickle right now.
Cute little fox ears twitched in annoyance as her boss lectured her on the legality of breaking in to a warehouse. Trespassing and breaking and entering were both crimes, and it would reflect poorly on the agency if one of their members was seen doing those things.
The man sighed, sitting down, “Look, we all know he’s up to no good, but we can’t act without evidence. The legal repercus-“
“The legal repercussions, Azakawa-san, will be greater if we let this go.” Chiyoko interrupted with an irritated sway of her tail, “Article 4 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights states that no one shall be held in servitude or slavery. Article 5 states that no one shall be subjected to torture or to cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment. Now, I’m sure you know Japan ratified the declaration, and you also know that international treaties take precedence over normal laws!” She raised her voice towards the end, anger clearly taking hold, “I am going there and I am dealing with him. I'm sure they'll forgive me for the heinous crime of saving lives.”
She stood up and walked out, “You can fire me if you don’t like it.”

“So, what do you think of this job?”
“Ah… I dunno, man. It pays good, but there’re a few lines I draw, and human trafficking’s awfully close to that.”
Two men were idly conversing just outside a harbour, where the aforementioned human trafficking was going on, illuminated only by a few exterior lights. It was a subtle operation, and Higarashi Naoko ensured that he wouldn’t be bothered by any onlookers. After all, he owned most of the harbours in the area.
“You said yourself that the pay’s good, so what does it matter? ‘Sides, the way I see it, this would be happening with or without us.”
“Maybe… h-hey, did you hear something?”
As soon as he asked that, something seemed to shimmer into existence, moving towards them. They both raised their weapons, finger already on the trigger but when it got clearer, they saw… a woman?
Indeed, a woman with fox ears and an enticing kimono stood there with a sultry smirk and a relaxed pose. Inoffensive, she transmitted no threat as she walked to them, unafraid of the guns pointed at her.
“Relax, boys… I’m not crashing your party. I just need to… talk.” She said, voice like honey to their ears as she entered their personal space.
“T-Talk?” They said in unison, slowly lowering their guns.
And that was the last thing they remembered.
Two thumps were heard from inside, causing momentary pause in the guards inside, “Hey, Munoto, everything okay out there?” One of them shouted. Upon receiving no response, he frowned and opened the door. Seeing the two unconscious guards, he immediately shouted to the rest.
“We’ve been found! Spread out, search the perimeter and get the cargo loaded quickly!” The commander ordered the men, who quickly did exactly that. Some stayed, aiming their guns at the windows through which the attacker would undoubtably come. Meanwhile, Naoko fumed as he paced around at the far end of the harbour, away from all of the action. How had this happened!? The only people who could possibly know were—
Splash! The offender came not from the windows, but from the water! A blinding light, blue ethereal wings glowed behind the kimono-clad girl as she came down upon Naoko and his several guards. Utterly confused, two could do nothing as she slammed her wings down on them upon landing. The other two turned around to aim, but the winds suddenly turned into javelins that she threw at them. Those two were down for the count as well, but somehow not dead.
The final one did open fire, only for the gunshot to land on her wing, causing her to hiss in pain. Still, she didn’t seem greatly hindered, and abruptly flapped the ethereal wings, throwing the thug and his gun into the water. This left only Naoko.
But his men returned, in great number. Too great a number for Chiyoko to take on. Naoko smirked and crossed his arms.
“Looks like your little raid has come to an end… maybe I’ll sell you along with all the other merchandise.” He threatened, walking up to her with a lecherous grin. Chiyoko, however, looked unimpressed.
“Oh, I wouldn’t do that. It would make you look bad.” As if on queue, police sirens were heard in the distance. It was Chiyoko’s turn to smirk, “Hear that? That’s your clock ticking. And, I have some rather incriminating evidence.” She said, showing him pictures. Pictures that showed him working with several high-profile villains.
“People are liabilities, Higarashi-san. You seem to have forgotten that.” She told him, “The way I see it, every alternative you have is bad. You can either confess to human trafficking, be accused of working with villains, or have the blood of a pro-hero on your hands. Which will it be?”
“I… I…”
.
..
…
“Higarashi Naoko admits to human trafficking!”
“Kawaguchi Chiyoko involved in blackmail?”
It was a simple task to get him to admit to human trafficking. Chiyoko had a way with words, and every alternative put Naoko in a bad spot. Of course, the media shitstorm this rose was huge, and her boss would probably hate her for at least a month. She didn’t care, though. What was important is that she saved those people.
But now she had more work to do. That mole had expended his usefulness, and she did have plenty of evidence to get him in jail as well…
