It is of the upmost importance for the team here at Polaris to insure that we not only create a friendly and creative environment for our players but we also stomp out potential threats of toxicity before they have the chance to fester into something greater. The listed rules below are subject to change and are not the end-all-be-all in terms of what can net you a form of punishment. If something is clearly out of line or done with intent to spread or influence behaviour in a negative way, we will act on it with appropriate levels of force.
1. Plots are to maintain a maximum content of what would be accepted in PG-13/TV-14 environment. Nothing inherently sexual or too absurdly violent is acceptable in terms of content. Obviously, the only exception to this is profanity. We don't really care one way or the other in regards to language used as long as it maintains logical consistency within your characters.
2. Plots containing references to common triggers need to label them at the top of the thread that information is contained. While I don't want to restrict the plot of players we don't want to cause anyone mental or physical damage. Threads containing references to the following list MUST be labeled on the post containing them.

3. The only people that keep an Out of Character (OOC) account on the board are staff members. Players are expected to have separate accounts for all active characters they have. The rules governing how many characters you may have are listed in the character creations rules page.
4. Content of political or religious nature are fine in plot but are to be left out of discussion areas. Leave that to the associated channels of the discord.
5. Content involving homophobia, racism, sexism, etc is allowed in plot but not allowed in discussion based portions of the forum.

6. Players present their preferred pronouns on the profiles on the forum. If corrected, please use those. Misuse of those fields in the profile is against the rules. Using pronouns other than those that are requested by the player is also against the rules.
7. Players must maintain a fair playing field, Metagaming; The usage of out of game knowledge for an in-character advantage, and Godmodding; The purposeful overstating of your character's power to make them impossible to beat, are not allowed.
8. Players must make all posts of their own themselves. Plagiarism is not allowed and you may not share characters between two people.
9. Respect. Everyone. Especially Staff, please bring grievances to the staff for review and if the grievance IS of a staff member inform Husbando or Vega
