The traits to immediately set her apart are her fox ears and fox tail, standing out from her pink mane of hair. She usually ties her hair into short pigtails and adorns her head with ribbons for aesthetic purposes. Her face is heart-shaped and her skin is fair, her eyes are amber in colour. Her teeth are sharper, and at least one of her canines are usually seen poking out of her mouth. The overall look of her face is very young, and it would not be unreasonable to mistake her for a third year student, a fact that she simultaneously loves and hates. She is cunning and charismatic, knowing how to talk to and charm people, but she also has a cheerful and almost childish side. In conversation, Chiyoko always holds back something, and tends to be evasive. Yet, she always takes the time to listen to others, and offer her own input where appropriate with a genuine smile and a willingness to be a friend. Despite her wishy-washy nature, it's easy to tell Chiyoko is passionate about doing good; a staunch believer of human rights, she will often use them as a basis for her morality. She absolutely loathes the idea of taking a life, but also recognises that she must fight to protect people, so she does what she thinks is best. Her ideals and morals are what keep her human, preventing her from becoming a soulless manipulator. In line with her evasive nature, Chiyoko is duplicitous and cunning. She's grown up lying, and it comes as naturally to her as breathing. She will avoid lies that may harm people, but everything else is fair game. It was developed as a way of protecting herself, and she can successfully deflect when things get too personal for her comfort. This, however, has the consequence of making her feel lonely. She can surround herself with people, but it means nothing if she can't allow herself to be vulnerable and expose herself. She can have the mental age of a toddler, giggling like a little child as she pranks her coworkers. It's very entertaining to her to see people get that pinched, annoyed look. She also enjoys poking at people, to see what makes them tick. It's all harmless fun, of course. But it's also useful if she wants to manipulate something or someone; she can be a schemer when she wants to, and a shrewd one at that. She is an expert at blackmail and other more nefarious methods that she has used to accomplish her goals. A person can be invincible, so the only way to reach them is through those connected to them. But she does this all with the greater good in mind. She hates nothing more than to see bureaucracy get in the way of justice, which is how she justifies her less than legal methods. For as long as she could remember, her household was a mess, undisciplined children running around everywhere and parents that didn't care. The father was nowhere to be seen, only ever showing up to argue about child support with Chiyoko's mother, and only looked at her to offer a cold stare. It told her she was not wanted. That was her experience from the start. Living in the largest slum in Japan, criminality was rampant. She lived in constant fear of what might happen, if she was gonna be killed or kidnapped or worse. The police were of no help either. Those that were supposed to protect her often went on power trips, which was the cause for a lot of riots, which in turn made Chiyoko more scared. Add to that the fact that she often lived in hunger, and it was the recipe for her becoming a petty thief early in life. This caused her to become a professional liar to escape police and the gaze of her mother, who wondered where she was all the time. But she did have one light in her dark life. Her school, a place where she could study and escape from her harsh life. Her homeroom teacher was a passionate and positive man who taught the class far more than he needed to. This included human rights. Tsuruki gave her a little book called Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and it changed her life forever. As she read the book, she realised just how many of her rights were being trampled on. Not only hers, but everyone else's as well. So, she decided to become a hero. Someone to look up to, and who would protect the rights of the downtrodden. She stopped stealing and started training, honing her Quirk and her will to fight. She studied hard as well, getting good grades and going above and beyond to educate herself wherever she possibly could. She eventually succeeded; she got in to Shiketsu High School and trained with her Quirk, being noted not only for being a generally high performing student, but also for being fiercely principled and with a clear goal in mind. There were early worries or her disdain for authority, but those were overshadowed by glowing praise. Problems arose anew, however, after she graduated. Chiyoko found herself quickly frustrated by the amount of shackles the heroes had on them. At first, she decided to simply ignore these and essentially do what she wanted, but swift repercussions in the face of her disregard for laws made it so she had to stop and obey. At least superficially. She used her skills with deceit and subterfuge to her advantage, however, doing things in a far more subtle way. Rather than being beaten up and taken in, people started confessing to their crimes for no particular reason. It became obvious that Chiyoko was responsible for this, but she operated under the notion that people were liabilities. She connected to no one and left no trail. Without the evidence, no one could pin her down. Eventually, the hero association had enough. In an effort to control her, they forced her to choose between teaching at a hero school or losing her license altogether, hoping the experience would temper her tendencies. She decided to teach, and is now going to be teaching for the first time at Shiketsu High School. Passively, she is incredibly durable, as resilient to damage as the armour of a humvee. The more important part of this, however, is what she can produce from her Quirk. She can generate ice from her body which can either be cool or warm. It is as durable as the armour found on a tank, which she can then manipulate within a limited range. Though she can create weapons and shields out of this, the more remarkable feat are her wings, almost ethereal in nature, they span 12 metres from one end to the other and can be used to protect those inside of it. As an added bonus, her Quirk gives her fox ears and a fox tail due to her mischievous nature. She can hide these if she has to. quirk limitation • She has the durability equivalent to a humvee. She can generate glowing ice as durable as a tank that she can manipulate within a two metre range, creating weapons or just objects to protect herself or someone else, and is able to manipulate up to 800 kilograms of ice. Her wings allow her to generate short bursts of mobility and speed, but she can only glide with them. The wings are as durable as her ice. She can make her ice cool or warm, but cannot go to the extreme of either way. quirk weakness • due to extreme psychological aversion, Chiyoko cannot kill using her Quirk. Her subconscious will go to extreme lengths to stop her from doing so, and if she does, she will lose the ability to generate ice or produce wings for four threads. A direct flame will slowly melt the ice. A flame hotter than usual will melt it far quicker and will negate her durability bonus. Any ice that exits the two metres range for one post will just become regular ice.
