As for rules dictating particularly to characters and quirks, this is where you'll find information. Obviously, the information found here won't tell you everything you need to know for making your character but it definitely will help a ton! So, let's begin!
1. A quirk as a whole can only be used once per active character. Now that's not to say there can't be two explosion-based quirks on the board but mostly that you can't have two people who do explosions via sweating a nitroglycerin-like substance and then being able to ignite it at well.
2. The amount of characters you can run is limited by the level of activity you display. You can make any number of characters, but all characters you had prior to that must have a minimum of 25 posts already. If a character goes more than a month without posting, without prior extenuating circumstances being given to staff, they will be moved into archival. You can have a total of three characters before the 25 posts rule is enforced on you.
3. Faceclaims can only be used once per character. Canon characters cannot be used as faceclaims.
4. This is an OC only site, you cannot claim a canon character.
5. Canon quirks can be claimed but may be reduced/weakened/nerfed as we see fit. That being said ALL canon quirks that are capable of instantly killing someone else immediately will be reduced.
6. Quirks cannot instant hit or instantly kill on hit, nor can they take control away from a another character in any shape or form. There are no exceptions.
7. There are currently no quirks that are banned except All for One. One for all would be heavily reduced though and contain different quirks.
8. Having multiple quirks/multiple-aspect quirk results in each quirk/aspect being reduced in overall power.
