Cold air didn’t do much good for the tips of the ears of the tall man, he was bundled up rather heavily but among the populace of Japan - even with all the strange and peculiar mutations - Allen knew he stood out as a far cry from the average citizen. Officers glanced to him with a watchful eye, he was glad that he maintained cover in civilian status via a long-brimmed hat. He needed to be careful if he was going to be out and about for sure. He stepped into the alleyway and took a slightly more brisk pace as he went through. His dark eyes observing every detail. He was out for casual, civilian business - or so he told others. He was actually looking for information on a breakthrough case and was in the process of meeting up with an informant. A new group of villains was forming up - something more terrifying than anything he’d ever heard of. He had to act fast to try and sway them his way - or else this could all go downhill fast. As he continued forward on the footpath he contemplated what kind of people he’d encounter once his informant pointed him in the direction of this burgeoning group of villains - the Krimson they called themselves. What kind of cheesy name was that? Seriously, why does every villain group choose edgy or silly names like something out of a comic book. It was almost too funny. Well then, here goes nothing.MADE BY VEL OF GS AND ADOXOGRAPHY 2.0

does it make you feel alive? Kirara wasn't sure if she was in the right place. The website said that ingredients for the cake she was trying to make could be found in this area, but the GPS was just leading her on the most convoluted path imaginable... Seriously, what kind of trustworthy hi-tech program is this?
The cold wind chilled her exposed skin of her hands as she pulled her scarf up to cover her mouth, and the woman let out a small sigh. Just thirty more minutes of trying, and she'd go home. It didn't help that at least three people had asked if she was lost. Jeez, rub salt in the wound, why don't you. She chose to respond simply by giving them a confused look, before hurrying away while staring at her phone. Maybe asking for directions would be the best option. Tsk.
Before stuffing her phone in her jacket pocket, Kirara took one more glance at it to double-check she was looking at the right track. When in doubt, take a shortcut. With the cover of the crowd, she slipped into a nearby alleyway. The dull colors clashed with the intense shades of what she was wearing, and her hurried pace slowed to a much more relaxed one now that she could slip through back-streets with relative ease.
Was it really worth it to go this far just for food? Could very well be home studying right now, and yet here she was wasting her time. As Kirara turned a corner, it seemed like she might have been too deep in her thoughts. She walked right into a brick wall, and not being prepared for the impact, stumbled backwards a few steps.
What the hell... that was going to hurt in the morning. She rubbed her forehead, looking up with a confused expression. There was never a wall here before, right? Hell, how would she know? This was her first time going this way. But as her confusion dimmed, it was soon realized that she had not in fact walked into a wall. His face was recognizable, if not how stupidly massive he was. Of course it had to be Zerk. It could've been anyone normal but she bumped right into the former villain himself.
...Better use it to her advantage. Her shoulders began to shake, and tears welled up in her eyes, very quickly beginning to stain her cheeks. "A-ah, I-I'm so sorry! I-I didn't mean to run into you... I.. I think someone's f-following me! C-Can you please help?" Kirara clutched at her arms, hugging herself as she made herself look much smaller. Better sell the act and cast a quick nervous glance over her shoulder too.

The continued path was more than enough to have Zerk’s mind blank out a bit. He had no desire to be in this part of town but here he was, wasting away time when he could be out doing just about anything else in the world and there was nothing that was even that interesting about this area. Villains weren’t super common in this area and no one really stepped out of line. He just happened to be meeting an informant and that was leading him to this. It was way out of his comfort zone but when you don’t speak a lot of Japanese there’s only so much you can do when you’re in need of information. The world seemed to suddenly snap back into focus when a ball of bright colour found itself making impact with his chest. The sudden weight on him pulled him right back into reality before he looked down to see that the girl was sitting there with tears welling in her eyes. It wasn’t like Zerk, even in his villain days, to leave a lady in distress. Even villains have standards. Then of course he heard what she said and while there would be a moment of pondering whether or not she was telling the truth… he sighed and pulled out his phone. “I’m going to have to reschedule.” He’d speak after only a short dial tone, the faint tones of a voicemail recipient having been heard shortly before. Allen would glance to the girl on the ground, his black eyes staring deep into her own before he spoke the next phrase, “It seems I’ve some business to tend to first.” He hit the end button and extended his arm towards her, “Take my hand, how far from here are you aiming to go?”MADE BY VEL OF GS AND ADOXOGRAPHY 2.0

does it make you feel alive? Should she... even try...? Kirara stared, her eyes wildly looking between his face, his phone, whatever may be behind him. Gods above, she did not prepare for this at all. As he spoke on the phone, she attempted to formulate an escape plan in her mind. Hesitantly, she began to reach forward before pulling herself back. "U-Uh, no! I..I'm fine, but..." The woman cast a few more nervous glances behind her.
"I..." Kirara raises a hand, pointing behind the much larger man. "I'm going... that way! I was- um... going to a grocery store..." It was the truth, of course. She was going to buy ingredients for a cake... maybe he could take her there much faster. She glances down at her phone and holds it up as much as she could so he could look at the directions she was currently taking.
With another nervous look over her shoulder, she let out a small groan. "I-I-I got sidetracked from my original route because..." She nods her head back. "Y-yeah..."
Oh hell. This was going to end horribly, wasn't it? Panic began to set in as she considered what could happen next. Does he even believe her? Would he lead her somewhere else entirely?
Good thing she wasn't too big on the villain scene, otherwise...
...Wait, who exactly was he talking to? Hopefully his business wasn't too important.
"I-I hope I'm not sidetracking you too much, ah.. um... if you'd like, I can repay you once we get to the store?" She would offer with a small smile, using her sleeve to wipe a few tears off her face. "Maybe a snack? Um... or... like... a drink? Are you thirsty?"

The larger man would look around for a few moments as he tried to process the information that she had given him. So if he was to believe her then she was on her way to some grocery store when someone decided to be a creep. Usually, playing armed guard for some random passerby wasn't his usual forte but it was something he couldn't really say no to considering the situation. He let out a hefty sigh of a breath. "I guess it wouldn't be too far out of my way to assist, like I said prior if you really want to scare off a creep, take my hand. If he thinks we're somehow in a close relationship well - any normal Japanese kid is gonna run off scared seeing that his prey is 'dating' a behemoth like myself." He said with a somewhat kind smile, Zerk wasn't full of hatred he just really didn't like dealing with inconveniences. He'd wait a moment and regardless of the choice she made he would begin to walk, if she opted not to take his hand he would simply nod and state "Suit yourself..." before moving behind her to obscure vision of potential people on their trail. He was more than aware she was probably lying as something about her seemed a little off. But he wasn't frightened of her and really losing out on a little bit of time with an informant to actually help someone - even if they did open the interaction with potential crocodile tears - was the right thing for him to do here. "The name's Allen, you don't have to offer me anything for helping you out. I just want to make sure you get where you're going safely. Your gratitude is more than enough for this."MADE BY VEL OF GS AND ADOXOGRAPHY 2.0
