Kato Hatsune always sticks out where ever he went, not only is he really tall for his age, he’s just tall in general. But outside of his unusual height is his scowling face and in general intense appearance. His dark grey eyes were sharp and creepy looking, whenever he caught a person staring at him Kato growled at them and cracked his knuckles which caused audible cracking. Nobody after that dared gave him a second glance in fear of getting knocked the fuck out. Which isn’t far from the truth.

Kato suffers from severe anger issues, and he hates it when people stare at him, he hates how they judged him and look down on him despite all of his accomplishments. He hates so many people. But he still wants to protect and save their fucking dumbasses from stupid ass villains who means the bastards harm. He’s a goddamn martyr and they don’t even know it. He hates it he hates it he hates it he hates it he hates it he hates it hehatesithehatesithehatesithehatesthemall-

Suddenly, during his enraged mantra, a woman’s scream could be heard and Kato got into a combat ready pose which the people around him gave him a wide berth and suddenly there the villain was, a snatch purse, running from a knocked over woman, right at him and he hasn’t appeared to notice him yet. Excellent. In a low almost feral stance Kato’s body started to get covered more and more with a black material and his hands started to elongate into long claws that almost end after 15 centimeters. The crowds were giving him more space now that they saw his claws and even the snatch purse noticed him now and froze up in place just a few feet away from him. Good.

Kato was now walking his way to the man while scraping his claws together which caused visible sparks to fly into the air. The man took a step back terrified at the sight he was seeing, good Kato’s intimidating act was going well. If only he could beat him down to the ground. With a final scrap of his claws, Kato lowered his claws to either side of him and lowered himself into a combat stance. Hopefully he’ll just give up. If he doesn’t well-it should be fine.

[attr="class","box2"]He had ordered iced coffee. He usually did as the four ice-cubes added dampened the caffeine’s bitterness. That it complimented the mugginess of the day was a pleasant bonus.

Served in a tall glass, cream had been whipped and squirted across the surface, yet artistically fashioned to resemble a cartoonish cat. Chocolate dusted to gift the creation eyes, a smile and tipped ears. A fair bit of artistry. And ruined by the straw so bluntly thrust through the creamy face. Seiren sipping nonchalantly, flipping another page to the novel that he held against a folded knee, reading at a café’s outdoor seating.

He wasn’t “so much” on vocation within Musutafu, more of a “afternoon’s break.” The advantage of being a masked hero – he could sit at any café or establishment and, so long as he stayed unmask, none would be any the wiser.

Another page turned, engrossed within his book – that was until a shrill feminine scream pierced the air.

Blue eyes, unnaturally bright, turned towards the sound, the source practically a few dozen-or-so feet away, where a woman had been shoved to the concrete and her assailant already holding her purse. Bag-snatching – it was sidekick work at best. And yet, Seiren didn’t see any of them, or their heroes, in the area. A wordless reminder that unlike in Tokyo there wasn’t an abundance of heroes, more than a few streets unmanned.

A quiet sigh and Seiren moved to close and place down his book beside his coffee, reaching as he did so down at a leather messenger-bag at his feet. Digging as his eyes followed not the purse-snatcher but a new figure – clawed, glaring and predatory. The aura that he was projecting wasn’t – “docile.” Dozens who had been standing around, witnessing the robbery but unsure what to do, were backing away, distressed. Fortunately, no-one thought to pay attention Seiren, pulling a mask over his ashen hair and fair complexion. Grunt-work aside, with the possibility of two criminals – of some sort of territorial confrontation – he knew he had to step in.

So, he stood up and rolled a shoulder. Electrical static sizzled, danced. Vividly blue. Gasps and other echoes of familiarity teased at Seiren’s ears. ”Ahh, look! It’s Blackou –“ With a more pressing concern, Seiren stepped forward, lunging into a dash. Fast as always, in a moment he was standing between the purse-snatcher and the one with the claws, his back facing the former as his gaze, bright and electric, eyed the latter coolly.

”Whatever ‘this’ is – quitting it now would be a smart move.”

Kato could see the delicious fear in the villain's eyes. Kato was tempted to beat down the man down and down until he couldn't get back up. Kato takes a step at the villain to see what he will do. Kato hoped his fight or flight response ended up in the fight response. He would love to make an example of this guy for any potential villains in this group's midst. Teach them all a lesson. A lesson to remember for forever, and then beyond that.

And then a Pro-hero arrived and-"The fuck?!" Was all Kato could let out as the pro-hero was standing between him in the purse snatcher. Most people would be intimidated when faced with a Pro-hero angerly looking at them with their quirk activated. But Kato isn't like most people. "WHAT 'THIS' IS ME STOPPING A VILLAIN FROM GETTING AWAY," Kato let out in a loud almost bestial growl, as the steam of grey smoke huffs out of his nose, Kato didn't notice the crowds staring at him with weary and fearful looks. But despite his lack of fear his armor was thickening from him sweating so much from anger, his claws lengthen as they stood there, which the crowd noticed and backed off, even more, Kato let out another low growl and growled, "As a Future Pro-hero I can't fight villains yet, BUT I SURE AS HELL CAN SCARE THE FUCK OUT OF THEM!" Kato suddenly yelled out in a scary voice as he glared at the purse snatcher with an intense expression, which got a fearful gulp out of him and even a few gasps from the crowd.

The crowd was now whispering among themselves, but Kato was too preoccupied with the villain and pro-hero to pay them much attention, but if he could hear them it would only cause his blood pressure to rise, with their judgemental words and questioning his heroism, or lack thereof, Kato wasn't listening to the sneers, to the hushed whispers, to every other hateful sound that could be made.
